Bank Standard raises assets 50%

As of June 1, Azerbaijan’s Bank Standard raised its assets to AZN 374.3 million ($436.7 million), up 48% from the early year, the bank press service told APA-Economics.
The loan portfolio expanded 57% during January and May and the funds in customer accounts reached AZN 174.3 million with a 28% rise over the same period last year.
As at June 1, the deposits made by individuals and legal entities totaled AZN 125.1 million ($145.7 million) with a year-on-year 18%).
The bank’s aggregate capital rose 19% to AZN 32.3 million ($37.6 million).
The group’s 1Q pre-tax profit was AZN 4.7 million ($5.5 million) which had risen by 29% during May. /APA-Economics/
