Azerbaijan’s dockyard to meet neighbor countries’ orders too

The dockyard to be built in the district of Garadagh near Baku will meet Azerbaijan’s own demand at the first phase, Aydin Bashirov, chair of the Caspian Shipping Company, told APA-Economics.
He added that he construction site has been allotted and blueprint has been developed.
“We plan to renew our own navy at the first stage. We will receive orders afterwards,” he added.
Bashirov noted that the dockyard will meet orders of the neighboring countries too.
“The dockyard will build various types of ships, including dry cargo vessels, tankers, warships and tow ships ranging from 3,000 tons to 30,000 tons,” he underscored. /APA-Economics/
