Through the National Fund for Assistance to Enterprise Development AZN 15 million was lent in concessional loan to 118 enterprises in 41 cities and regions of Azerbaijan during January-May.
The Economic Development Ministry press service told APA-Economics that loans were most targeted to finance projects in industrial production, rural development, tourism, services etc.
77% of the projects were in regions, of which 88% were production and processing oriented.
Over 17,000 jobs will be created through implementation of projects funded by preferential loans.
For 2007 AZN 80mln are earmarked from the State Budget for the development of enterprises and AZN 6mln to development of enterprises in Nakhchivan AR. /APA-Economics/
