Azerbaijan prepares national product standards

The State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents is working on standards for national products.
The Agency deputy director Galib Aghayev told APA-Economics that the national-branded products include dovgha, pakhlava, shakarbura and others.
â€œPreparing standards requires a year. We plan to adopt about 40 national standards this year,â€ he said.
The agency developed 260 national standards within one and a half year, of which 60% pertains to foodstuffs. /APA-Economics/
