Azerbaijan owes electricity to Georgia because of supplies in May.
Azerenergy Vice-President Marlen Asgarov told APA-Economics that Azerbaijan is receiving between 70 and 100 megawatts of electricity per day in peak hours.
“According to the agreement, Azerbaijan will pay its electricity debt in autumn and winter. Water rises in Georgia during spring and summer and there is more electricity than domestic use,” he said.
