Third well to come online in Shah Deniz Field in a few weeks

He added that the third well come online in a few weeks.
“In 2007 we plan to produce an average of around 65,000 barrels per day (oil equivalent) from Shah Deniz. 8.6 billion cubic meters of gas per annum and approximately 30,000 barrels of condensate per day,†he noted.
Bill Schrader said during the first quarter the project spent $29 million of the planned $183 million operating expenditure and $102 million of the planned $334 million capital expenditure on Shah Deniz activities.
“Shan Deniz is currently producing around 180 million cubic meters feet (about 5.2 million cubic meters) of gas, plus about 15,000 barrels of condensate per day from two wells. This makes around 46,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day,†he added.
The Shah Deniz project is a gas condensate development in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian with the planned gas export to markets in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
The first Shah Deniz gas from well SDA-01 came on December 15, 2006. Total daily gas production capacity of the well is 5.6 million cubic meters of gas and 2.5b billion cubic meters of condensate. The Field is expected to produce 5.5 billion cubic metres of gas this year. For 2007, Shah Deniz Field will deliver 2.5 billion cubic meters to Azerbaijan for domestic use, 2.8 billion cubic meters to Turkey and 0.25 billion cubic meters to Georgia (transit tax). /APA-Economics/
