Business Software Alliance: Armenia, Moldova and Azerbaijan occupy first three places for piracy in information technology

Armenia occupies the first place in the world for piracy in the field of information technology, APA’s Eastern Europe bureau reports.
According to the survey by the World Software Alliance, the list of the countries using information technology illegally in the world has been specified. Armenia occupies the first place for 95% of piracy. Moldova occupies the second and Azerbaijan the third place. The use of pirate technology is 94% in these countries. According to the investigation, the level of piracy in Moldova reduced by 1%, this figure remained unchangeable in Azerbaijan. Zimbabwe (91%), Vietnam (88%), Venezuela (86%), Pakistan (86%), Indonesia (85%), Ukraine (84%) and Cameroon (84%) occupy the other places in the first ten. Though pirate technologies were 87% in Russia in 2003 and Russia left twenty for the first time.
