Amrahbank to issue MasterCard bank cards

Azerbaijan’s Amrahbank will start issuing MasterCard plastic cards (Standard, Gold, Platinum, Maestro) in the nearest future.
The bank told APA-Economics that after designing cards, the first cards will be issued in late May.
Amrahbank became an associative member of MasterCard International in February, 2006.
As of April 1, the assets of Amrahbank reached AZN 33,291,860, loan portfolio expanded to AZN 27.655 million, deposit portfolio increased to AZN 17,041,500, aggregate capital rose to AZN 10,186,080, including the authorized capital reaching AZN 6.779mln.
Revenue for the first quarter reached AZN 2,717,500 while expenditure rose to AZN 995,600.
The bank’s 1Q profit totaled to AZN 172,800, up 10.67% from last year.
Established by five individuals in 1993, Amrahbank has 24 branches (5 in Baku). /APA-Economics/
