Pensioners’ expired cards to get benefits will be renewed in Baku and Sumgait, the State Social Protection Fund Chairman Salim Muslumov told a workshop examining automation of pension benefits delivery.
He added that the new chip cards will enable pensioners to receive their benefits and make payment for utilities. He added that the issue of saving pension benefits on deposit with banks will be discussed in the future.
He added that the country is framing legislation for establishment of private pension funds.
