Azerbaijan’s Jan-Apr gas output falls short of target

Azerbaijan produced 806.25 million cubic meters of gas against the planned 927.33 million cubic meters (86.9%) in April, the SOCAR, State Oil Company, told APA-Economics.
Of the amount, 450.57 million cubic meters were produced by the SOCAR, 439.47 million cubic meters by Gas and Gas Units, 11.1 million cubic meters by joint ventures and operating companies, 109.33 million cubic meters came from Shah Deniz Field and the rest from Azeri-Guneshli-Chirag Field.
A total of 3,045.01 million cubic meters of gas were extracted against the target of 3,132.33 million cubic meters during January-April.
In April 740.18 million cubic meters of gas were delivered to the relevant structures against the planned 859.27 million cubic meters. The forecast for gas production is 12.145 billion cubic meters and the forecast for gas delivery is 11.312 billion cubic meters for 2007. /APA-Economics/
