Oil output beats target in Azerbaijan, Jan-Apr

Azerbaijan produced 722,480 metric tons of oil against the target of 723,300 metric tons (99.9%) during April.
The SOCAR, State Oil Company, told APA-Economics that 625,480 tons of oil (100%) were produced by Oil and Gas Units, and 97,000 tons (99.1%) by joint ventures and operating companies.
A total of 2,913,380 tons of oil against the planned 2,893,300 tons were produced during January-April with a surplus of 0.7%.
Of which, 2,523,940 tons of oil were extracted by Oil and Gas Units and 389,440 tons by joint ventures and operating companies .
The SOCAR delivered 721,890 tons of oil against the planned 716,690 tons (100.7%) in April. A total of 2,887,700 tons of oil against the target of 2,866,690 were delivered during the January-April period.
Oil production prediction is 8,800,000 tonnes and delivery forecast is 8,720,000 tons for 2007. /APA-Economics/
