Azerbaijan’s Finance Minister leaves for Kyoto

Azerbaijan’s Finance Minister Samir Sherifov has left for Japan to attend the annual meeting of Asian Development Bank.
Finance Ministry told APA-Economics that the 40th meeting of ADB will be held in Kyoto from May 5 to7.
The minister will have meetings with Japan’s Finance Minister Koji Omi, President of ADB Haruhiko Kuroda, and Vise President of ADB Liquin Jin, bank’s Director General Juan Miranda and Stephen Sedgwick, director of voting group for Azerbaijan, Australia, Cambodia and some other countries.
Asian Development Bank was established in 1966. The head office of the bank is situated in Philippine. The bank has 66 members. Azerbaijan joined the bank in 1999. The leading investors of the bank are Japan and USA (31, 2%), India and China (12.8%), Australia, South Korea and Canada. /APA-Economics/
