Opening of Batumi airport postponed

Opening of Batumi airport has been postponed till May 21. APA’s Georgia bureau reports that at present the navigation systems of the airport are being tested.
It should be noted that, the opening ceremony of the airport constructed by Turkey’s Tav Urban Company has been postponed for some times. Turkish company promised to open the airport on the birthday of Georgian President –December 25. Then the ceremony was postponed by February, and afterwards by April.
The opening of Tbilisi airport constructed by the same Turkish company was held on February 7, where Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Premier Rajab Tayyip Erdogan took part in. /APA-Economics/
