Azerenergy has installed AURA-M microprocessor devices to detect power failures and cuts in a more efficient way. The company officer Gazanfar Ramazanov says the company used to use H-13 obsolete ossillographs to monitor or control while it took long time.
“The new system is more efficient. The data will come to SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system which will enable to effectively control and monitor processes related to electric power generation, transmission and distribution,” he says.
The system will enable to detect and remove failures and cuts in power grid and transmission systems. The controlling devices have been installed in 500-kilovolt Absheron substation and 330-kilovolt Sumgait substation. The process to provide other stations with gadgets is under way. /APA-Economics/
