Azerbaijan’s UniBank intends to establish 10 new branches in Baku and regions. The bank has 9 branches at present.
By improving its reach, the bank is planning to further activate mortgage lending process. Up to April 20, UniBank lent 74 mortgage loans worth AZN 2,628,763 through funding from Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (including 4 concessional mortgages worth AZN 121,935).
UniBank is owned by the EBRD (15.15%), DEG Investment Corporation (8.3%), legal entities (0.9%) and individuals (75.62%).
The bank was established in 1992.
As of April 1, the group’s assets reached AZN 169,892,380, loan portfolio AZN 102,799,110, deposit portfolio AZN 92,249,820 and aggregate capital AZN 19,609,990, including the authorized capital of AZN 6.6 million. /APA-Economics/
