Azer-Asia Insurer increases insurance premiums collection 20%

Azer-Asia Azerbaijan-Iran Insurance JV increased insurance premiums collection to AZN 221,380 during the January-March, up 20.3% from a year earlier. Voluntary insurance services brought AZN 220,813 and compulsory insurance AZN 567.
The Company told APA-Economics that company paid AZN 201,894 in insurance risks, 13.4% lower than the same period last year.
Azer-Asia Insurance JV was established by Iran’s Asia Company (49%) and Azerbaijan’s Azersigorta State Commercial Company (51%) in 1997. It provides 7 voluntary and 2 compulsory insurance services.
As at April1, the authorized capital of the insurer reached to AZN 1.773m. /APA-Economics/
