The Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia will send a large delegation to Azerbaijan in June. Latvian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mikhails Popkovs, told APA-Economics that the aim of the visit is to give a workshop on mortgage lending in Baku.
“Mortgage lending process is a heated issue here. It was agreed at the meeting of intergovernmental commission to hold a workshop in Baku. All banks in the country will be invited to the event,†he added.
The workshop will be organized within the scope of Latvian President Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga’s visit to Baku in mid June. /APA-Economics/
