SOCAR arm rehabilitates North-South pipeline in Georgia

Khazardenizneftgastikinti, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, has completed rehabilitation of the part of North-South gas pipeline in Georgia.
The Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund manager Ilya Eloshvili told APA bureau that the SOCAR arm has rehabilitated one of the four parts of the project.
Within the scope of the U.S. government’s Millennium Challenge Account program, Georgia received $295.3 million in grants in September 2005. Of the amount, $49.5 million will go to the rehabilitation of the North-South gas pipeline. /APA-Economics/
