Azerbaijan suspends gas exports to Georgia

Azerigas, State Gas Company of Azerbaijan, has suspended to export natural gas to Georgia via the old pipeline, Georgian Oil and Gas Corp. told APA-Economics.
At present Georgia is receiving 1mln cubic meters of Azeri gas a day [from Shah Deniz Field) via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline as transit tax.
Because of winter, Azerbaijan delivered 1.3 cubic meters of gas per day to Georgia through old pipeline since January.
Georgia is also importing between 2.4mln and 2.5mln cubic meters of gas from Russia, and 0.8mln cubic meters of gas as transit tax for Russian gas importation to Armenia. /APA-Economics/
