Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno Karabakh are regarded as interested sides in the format,†Nizami Bahmanov, chief of Nagorno Karabakh’s Azerbaijani Community Public Union told the APA
He mentioned that there were attempts to involve Armenian community of Nagorno Karabakh in negations as equal rights side.
“They want to convince Azerbaijan that Nagorno Karabakh Armenians should involve in the negotiations. It is impossible during present situation,†he said. Bahmanov mentioned co-chairs’ duties.
“Duty of co-chairs is to study the 4 resolutions of UN Security Council, decisions admitted by OSCE and international rights and eliminate the fact of occupation by Armenians. Armenian Armed Forces should be withdrawn from occupied Azerbaijani lands. Territorial integrity of Azerbaijan should be ensured and IDPs undergoing ethnic cleansing should return to their lands. Status of Nagorno Karabakh should be discussed with the participation of Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno Karabakh after that,†he said./APA/
