OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs inform official Baku about Armenia’s position

The mediators informed Azerbaijani side about the results of their visits to Armenia and Khankendi, Armenia’s attitude towards the proposals presented to the parties on November 29 and learned official Baku’s position.
According to the co-chairs, both parties have constructive approach to the issue, but there is still divergence in some issues. The co-chairs have ended their visit to the region.
The co-chairs were in Baku on January 13-14 and had negotiations with Azerbaijani President and Foreign Minister. Following this, they left for Yerevan and met the officials. The mediators visited the occupied Azerbaijani territory Khankendi and had discussions with the head of separatist Nagorno Karabakh regime. The co-chairs returned to Yerevan on January 16, met Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan on January 17 and have arrived in Azerbaijan this morning. The co-chairs will today hold a press conference on the results of their visit to the region. /APA/
