Separatist regimes in post-soviet countries sign document on conflict settlement

“Foreign ministers†of separatist regimes in post-soviet countries signed a document on “Declaration about fair settlement and peace principles of the conflicts in Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan†in Tiraspol, APA reports. The document says that the conflicts have to be solved in a peaceful way and the right of self-determination has to be recognized during the solution of the conflicts.
The separatist regimes stated that all forms of pressure – military, information, economic and diplomatic pressure are unacceptable.
Azerbaijani foreign ministry spokesman Khazar Ibrahim told the APA that separatist regimes’ focusing on the right of self-determination during the solution of the conflict is groundless.
“Armenian people achieved self-determination, Armenian Republic exists. Nagorno Karabakh has its population which consists of Azerbaijanis, Armenians and other communities. The status of Nagorno Karabakh can be determined in the framework of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity after Armenia withdraws from the occupied territories, IDPs return to their native lands and have normal life conditions,†he said. /APA/
