Tomas de Wall: Pentagon exerts pressure on the State Department for supporting Azerbaijanâ€™s position and Congress for supporting Armeniaâ€™s position

I have visited Washington recently. I was surprised that the Pentagon is exerting pressure on the State Department for favoring Azerbaijanâ€™s position and Congress is exerting pressure for favoring Armeniaâ€™s position. This episode shows that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict remains as unsolved issue, famous British journalist, director of Caucasus project of US Institute for War and Peace Tomas de Wall said, APA reports. Journalist touching on the amendment to the annual report of the US State Department for the first time said that he did not know who made this decision. Wall commenting on the UKâ€™s position regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict said that his country supports Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity like other states, and wishes a peaceful solution to the conflict. /APA/
