He said Turkey’s taking control over peacekeeping forces of NATO in Kosovo is natural and assured Turkish Army will successfully carry out this mission.
Touching upon sending peacekeepers including Turkish soldiers to Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict zone Vahit Erdem said NATO is not planning such operation yet. “If NATO decides it, Turkey will join this campaign as Turkey has close historical links with the Caucasus too. So deploying Turkish soldiers to Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone will be useful for everyone,†he concluded./APA/
