The State Department official said there were not any momentums in conflict with the external policy in the initial 2006 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices.
“Our policy regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not changed, and there is nothing contrary to our foreign policy in the report. We are trying to be maximally attentive while preparing reports on human rights practices and other documents as well. We have not changed our policy, and that is the main thing,” the official said.
The US State Department has restored the language of the initial 2006 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, APA reports quoting the US State Department’s website.
The State Department changed back the language of the country report, which states “Armenia continues to occupy the Azerbaijani territory of Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding Azerbaijani territories”
This version had been changed by the influence of Armenian lobby. The restored version of the report specifies the side [Armenia] which has occupied the territories of Azerbaijan. /APA/
