President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Lachin branch of the “PIRSHAGHI” shoe factory on May 27, APA reports.
According to the report, one of the enterprises commissioned in the Lachin Agro-Industrial Park is the Lachin branch of the “PIRSHAGHI” shoe factory. The enterprise, with a total cost of 367.9 thousand manats, will provide jobs for 15 people, mainly residents of Lachin. The enterprise is capable of producing 1,500 pairs of shoes for men, women and children per month. The factory, equipped with modern equipment, will produce sports and classic-style shoes.
In addition to selling in the domestic market, the enterprise also plans to export its products to European countries.
A total of 46 enterprises are planned to operate in the Lachin Agro-Industrial Park. Furniture factories, fish farming, food industry, light industry, environmentally friendly processing enterprises, a scientific and experimental center for small-horned animals and other enterprises will be established here.
The creation of new jobs in the region, the restoration of infrastructure and support for entrepreneurial activity lead to the revival of economic activity. Lachin Agro-Industrial Park plays a very important role in this regard.
