The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has addressed a congratulatory letter to Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.
The letter reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Albanian people and personally, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and your people, wishing peace and prosperity.
Albania highly values its friendship with Azerbaijan and is pleased with the development of partnership between our countries. Our relations, built on mutual respect and common interests, continue to develop steadily. I highly appreciate your important role in deepening our partnership and express my gratitude for that.
I am confident that under your leadership, the friendship between Albania and Azerbaijan will be further strengthened, and new opportunities for cooperation in mutually interesting fields such as energy, tourism, and infrastructure will arise.
Mr. President, once again, I congratulate you on your national holiday and send my best wishes.
I express my highest respect to you."
