President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on the conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan into active military service from July 1 to 30, 2025, and the release of active military servicemen into the reserve, APA reports.
According to the order, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who were born in 2007 and turned 18 by the day of conscription (including that day), as well as those born in 1995–2006, who are under 30 years old, who have not completed active military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who do not have the right to a deferral from conscription to active military service, or who have not been exempted from conscription to active military service, will be called up for active military service from July 1 to 30, 2025.
The order stated that active military servicemen who have completed their service period as stipulated in Article 38.1.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Military Duty and Military Service” shall be released into reserve from July 1 to 30, 2025.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to take measures stipulated in the legislation for the implementation of this Order.
