Azerbaijan determines new amount of disability benefits for terrorism-related injuries

Disability benefits have been increased for disabilities caused by general illness, military service, occupational injury, occupational disease, presence in military operation zones, the elimination of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, and terrorism-related reasons, APA reports.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree regarding this matter.

According to the decree, starting from July 1, 2025, disability benefits for those whose disability is due to the elimination of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident and terrorism-related reasons will be increased as follows: from 270 to 300 manats for persons with 81–100% impairment of bodily functions, from 220 to 250 manats for persons with 61–80% impairment, and from 150 to 180 manats for persons with 31–60% impairment.
