Azerbaijan aims to enter the energy market of Romania in a diversified way, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said as he received Minister of Energy of Romania Sebastian-Ioan Burduja, APA reports.
At the meeting, the expansion of economic and commercial relations between Azerbaijan and Romania was touched on, it was noted that the trade turnover last year increased by approximately 30 percent compared to the previous year and reached USD 670 mln, and it was stated that cooperation in the field of investment was also strengthened.
Touching upon the very active activity of SOCAR in Romania, it was brought to the attention that it occupies a rather important place in the fuel market of this country.
