Victoria Dementieva – APA. “Settlement of “frozen” conflicts is priority for Ukraine and during the OSCE chairmanship period it will do its best to achieve positive dynamics in the settlements of these conflicts”, said the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara at the press conference in Baku. He noted Ukraine supports development of humanitarian relations between the sides of “frozen” conflicts: “Every conflict causes spiritual injury in many people. Therefore, we support humanitarian relations and development of civil society. We think that Azerbaijani and Armenian social organizations can contact with one another to prevent the humanitarian problems”.
L. Kozhara stressed he will urge Ukraine to activate the process on settlement of conflicts: “However, as a co-chairing country, we represent 57 countries. Therefore, we have to take “collective consciousness” into consideration. We also support existing mechanisms allowing the sides conduction of negotiations”.
