“President of Azerbaijan and Armenia met in Vienna a few days ago. What do you think about this meeting as the chairman of the Council of Europe? It will be interesting to know your priorities regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” asked Samad Seyidov.

In his response, the Austrian Foreign Minister said: “First of all, I want to say that I highly assess the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents in Vienna. I'm so glad that they met exactly in Vienna. It is a very suitable place for negotiations. I hope that the solution of the conflict will be finally found. We are seeking the lasting solution. I have no information that any progress has been achieved at Vienna meeting. But we are in favor of holding such regular meetings. We need a lasting solution and are doing our best to find it. There is a group that is dealing with this issue and they also help to find this solution.”
