Baku – APA. The Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Russian Federation, will hold a hearing on the recognition of “Armenian terrorism” book-album published in Azerbaijan, as “an extremist material”. N.Y.Chernova will preside over the hearing.

APA reports quoting AzerTAc news agency that according to the investigative material of Krasnoyarsk Prosecutor's Office attached to the notification, on October 3, the prosecutor’s office received information from the department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Krasnoyarsk Krai that the book “Armenian terrorism” was distributed in the district.

It was noted that the book is being distributed by the people representing the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Krasnoyarsk. Experts of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. P. Astafyev conducted psycholinguistic research and came to the “conclusion” that “separate texts in the publication, its introduction, photos and related comments are biased materials aimed at forming opinion that “Armenian terrorism” exists, Armenians inflict bodily harm on and kill people for their nationality all over the world, act to stir up national and religious enmity”. Referring to the Federal Law on “Extremist activity” with the view of protecting the interests of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor’s Office recognized the publication as an “extremist material” and sent the relevant judgment to the court.

The Prosecutor’s Office asked the court to recognize the publication “Armenian terrorism” as an “extremist material”, to send a copy of the judgment to Russian Justice Ministry so that the publication is included into the list of extremist materials.

“Armenian terrorism” book-album by the late Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Ismat Gayibov and the late Director General of Azerinform (present AzerTAc) Azad Sharifov was published in Azerbaijan in 1992. The book is based on the facts on terrorist attacks committed by Armenian terrorist organizations against Turks and Azerbaijan all over the world, as well as the civilians in Azerbaijan. These facts were studied by the law-enforcement bodies of the US, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Belgium, Spain, Italy, UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Lebanon, Azerbaijan and other countries, it was proved with undeniable facts that the crimes that resulted in large human losses were committed by Armenian terrorist organizations.

“The step taken at the time when intolerance is observed against migrants, including Azerbaijanis in Russia can be regarded as a factor having negative impact on the development of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia,” – AzerTAc State Agency notes.
