CoE Committee of Ministers chairman says doesnâ€™t know Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev being taken hostage in Nagorno-Karabakh

When Rafael Huseynov, a member of Azerbaijan’s delegation to PACE, asked what he can do within his authorities during his period of chairmanship to help release Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, who were illegally sentenced to life in prison and 22 years in prison respectively in Armenian-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh and that they were taken hostage in Armenian-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh and are illegally being held hostage by the separatist regime, the Belgian FM said the Committee of Ministers has not yet received any appeal in this regard.

However, he noted that he would speak to Armenian authorities about this matter as part of his visit to Armenia in April of this year: “I have no information about those two persons. But I can assure you I will look into this problem prior to my visit to Armenia and I will speak to them”.
