APA reports that 16 students from various Finland Universities are studying history, economy, translation and other specialties in “Master’s School" of Aleksanteri Institute. They are specializing on Russia and Eastern Europe. They visited Azerbaijan within “Azerbaijan 2013” project.
First of all, editor of “Visions of Azerbaijan” magazine of TEAS Ian Peart welcomed the guests and gave them information about Azerbaijan. He delivered a lecture on the Azerbaijani history and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Head of Azerbaijani studies scientific research center of TEAS, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Karim Shukurov spoke about the events happened in different periods of Azerbaijani history and the current situation.
They also answered questions of the guests and held discussions. Moreover, the European Azerbaijan Society announced that they intend to cooperate with these students in the future.
