We are about to establish strong strategic relations in trade, transport and investments,’ said Romanian President's adviser for strategic affairs and international security Iulian Chifu, APA reports.
Chifu noted that the ties between the two countries can be characterized as a dynamically deepening relationship based on mutual support: ‘As shown in the Chicago Summit Declaration both Romania and NATO states support territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Azerbaijan. Romania supports the peaceful settlement of protracted conflicts in the region.’
