Lithuanian Foreign Ministry comments on some Seimas membersâ€™ proposal to establish friendship group with separatist regime in Nagorno Karabakh

Anyway, the initiative you have mentioned does not correspond to the position of Seimas, or Lithuanian government,” Lithuanian Foreign Ministry told APA while commenting on the initiative put forward by some members of the Seimas to establish “Lithuania-Nagorno Karabakh” friendship group.

“The friendship between Lithuania and Azerbaijan has strong traditions. We are sure that these relations will further strengthen.”

Following the initiative of some members of Lithuania’s Seimas to establish “Lithuania-Nagorno Karabakh” friendship group, Azerbaijan handed a note to the Foreign Ministry of this country.
