According to him, the Armenian president admits that his country has allocated a very large part of their insufficient budget to military expenditures: “Is it really worth continuing occupation of another country that causes poverty in the country and population outflow? Armenia’s president must not sacrifice his people’s future in favor of his political ambitious. The occupation has been recognized by the international community. Unfortunately, the Armenian government is trying to evade responsibility. The question now arises, what are the Armenian armed forces doing in the territories of Azerbaijan? Of course it is an occupation. We have announced several times that our position is clear – the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijan’s territories will create wide opportunities for the region, as well as Armenia.”
