Assistant to President: “It is Armenia that violates negotiations process”

“Azerbaijan always attends the negotiations process. It is Armenia that violates the negotiations process. Therefore these appeals should be first of all to Armenia,” said Assistant to Azerbaijani President Hikmat Hajiyev, APA reports.

While responding questions of the journalists, Hikmat Hajiyev said that negotiations for the sake of negotiations have already exhausted everyone: “Concrete result is expected from the negotiations process. Therefore process should be first of all result-oriented that to put an end the existence of Armenian Armed Forces in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, to withdraw Armenian Armed Forces from occupied Azerbaijani lands, to ensure the implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions. Azerbaijan has clearly and unambiguously expressed its constructiveness and position in the negotiation process. We believe that in the current situation, the international community should put greater political and diplomatic pressure on Armenia to withdraw Armenian troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev has provided detailed information in his interview with international media about all of these.”
