Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart: â€œThe European Union and Germany will take serious steps towards the settlement of the Nagorno Karabkah problemâ€

We recognize that Nagorno Karabakh and its surrounding regions are a part of Azerbaijan. I call on the European countries and European Union to increase their effortsâ€, said Otto Hauser, Honorary Council of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart, Germany, APA reports.

Noting that the EU and Azerbaijan are energy partners, Otto Hauser said: â€œWe will purchase oil and gas from Azerbaijan in future. We must not cooperate only in energy sphere. The EU must understand that it should support Azerbaijan in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem and increase its efforts. We know that, the OSCE Minsk Group is mediating in the settlement of this problem but havenâ€™t taken any serious stepst. Thatâ€™s why the EU and Germany should take serious steps towards the settlement of the problem. Germany had been separated for 50 years, but we could unite Germany only 20 years ago. Germany and the EU should be more active in the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
