Co-chairs to visit region in July

Moscow. Farid Akbarov â€“ APA. â€œRussian foreign ministry has a positive opinion about the Paris meeting. The Russian side estimates such meetings positively in terms of the development of political dialogueâ€, spokesman for the Russian foreign ministry Alexander Lukashevich said during a briefing today, APA correspondent reports from Moscow.

Lukashevich said that the Paris meeting of the foreign ministers was pre-planned. â€œThe ministers exchanged views on the solution of Nagorno Karabakh problem, recent incidents on the line of contact between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, the prevention of frontline tensions, as well as the development of humanitarian relations.â€

Lukashevich said the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs would visit the region in July.

Speaking about the statement of the leaders of the three co-chair countries in Mexico, the Russian diplomat said â€œit shows that all three countries are interested in the soonest solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€.
