20 years pass since Armenians committed genocide in Aghdaban village of Kalbajar region

APA reports that people from Aghdaban village, parliamentarians attended the event.

The people killed in Aghdaban were commemorated in a minute silence. MP Fazail Agamali said on the night of April 7-8, 1992, Armenians burnt 130-house Aghdaban village, tortured people, 33 people were killed, 8 old people aged 90-100, 2 children, 7 women were burnt alive, 2 went missing, 12 were seriously injured. Armenians burnt the manuscripts Aghdabanli Gurban and Ashug Shamshir.

Javid Gurbanov said no criminal case was launched over Aghdaban tragedy.
“We must not forget this tragedy,” he said.

‘Aghdaban tragedy: the cry of the broken saz” prepared by Ashug Shamshir Cultural Center was demonstrated at the end of the event.
