During the local antiterror operation that lasted 23 hours and 48 minutes, our military units showed great bravery, said Colonel Elshad Abilov, Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support of the Main Department for Personnel of the Ministry of Defense, APA reports.
Elshad Abilov noted that the decision to conduct an anti-terrorist operation was made in response to provocations of the other side: "Not only did we force them to withdraw from the area, but also compelled them to sign a capitulation."
