Goals set in Azerbaijan-Türkiye exercises were achieved – Colonel

Up to 3,000 personnel, 130 pieces of armored vehicles, nearly 100 artillery vehicles, over 20 aviation and flight vehicles, as well as engineering equipment and small boats were involved in the operational joint tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, Colonel Ramil Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

According to him, this type of exercises is held twice a year.

"The first training of this type was held in Türkiye in May. The goals set during the training were achieved. Basically, it was held in 7 regions, taking into account the climate and terrain relief. The progress of the training in other regions was monitored by joining these exercises online," the colonel noted.
