An area of 229.205 m² was cleared of landmines in Azerbaijan's Jabrayil district within 6 months, it was reported during the meeting with Mine and unexploded ordnance clearance working groups operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordination Headquarters regarding the cleaning operations carried out in the Jabrayil district, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.
Note that in 133 days, 229,205 m² of the 313,528 m² territory with mines was cleaned. 20,415 m² of it was cleared by hand, 208,790 sq.m. with the help of mine-detecting dogs, and 226,100 sq.m. by mechanical methods.
Emphasize that 127 anti-personnel mines, 200 anti-tank mines, and 23 unexploded military ammunition were found.
