Azerbaijan launches “Euronews Academy” project to advance journalism with Media Development Agency support

“Today, with the support of the Media Development Agency and the participation of Euronews, we are launching the 'Euronews Academy' project in Azerbaijan. This is a first in the history of our press in recent years,” said Natig Mammadli, Deputy Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, APA reports.

Natig Mammadli noted that Euronews will create great opportunities for the development of journalism in the country: “Modern journalism trends will be presented to journalists, comprehensive training on the principles of journalism in the digital environment will be conducted. Innovations related to managing social networks and creating digital content will also be taught to journalists within the framework of the project. The trainings will be carried out by international experts from Euronews.

The implementation of such a project will lead to significant progress in the media field. Our society will become closely acquainted with the modern news context.”
