In the main reconstruction and construction regions of Azerbaijan, the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, infrastructure and construction work is being carried out using advanced technologies, and settlements are being rebuilt based on the principles of smart city and smart village, Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said during his speech at the Azerbaijan-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that the liberated territories have great economic potential, including industrial, agricultural, and tourism potential: "Two industrial parks have been established in these territories. An additional package of benefits is being provided for entrepreneurial activity in the liberated territories, covering the areas of taxation, customs, finance, utilities, green energy, labor migration and housing construction. I think that the implementation of joint projects based on the application of innovations and smart technologies in the process of reintegration of our liberated territories would be beneficial for both sides."
