The International Air Transport Association (IATA) Aviation Energy Forum will take place in Baku in 2025, Samir Rzayev, President of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), shared the news on his Facebook page, APA reports.
The forum will discuss the industry's most pressing priorities, including increasing efficiency in aviation, promoting innovation, and exchanging ideas on achieving the Net Zero Emissions target by 2050.
The prestigious event, supported by AZAL, will be held from May 13-15, 2025, and will bring together representatives from over 50 countries, more than 60 airlines, and over 550 registered participants.
“As Azerbaijan and AZAL, we take pride in hosting the Aviation Energy Forum, contributing to the global aviation agenda, expanding international partnerships, and strengthening our country's position as the region's aviation hub,” the post emphasized.
