Azerbaijani MP: Number of entry and exit routes with Russia, Georgia, Türkiye should be increased

"Azerbaijan has fully assumed the responsibility of the Middle Corridor. Measures are being taken to restore the ancient Silk Road," the Member of Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan Siyavush Novruzov said at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

He said that the number of entry and exit routes should be increased not only with Russia, but also with Georgia in the future: "We should not be content with just one route. This will be a positive step for Azerbaijanis living there as well. Also, agricultural products are transported from Azerbaijan to Russia, we receive some complaints that they are delayed, the products reach the point of spoilage. At the same time, such roads with Turkiye should be increased as well."
