Azerbaijan to set up new customs terminal near "Girmizi Korpu" border checkpoint

The infrastructure will be improved in order to increase the release capacity of Azerbaijan's "Girmizi Korpu" (Red Bridge), "Mazimgara", "Samur", "Bilasuvar", "Astara" and "Shirvanli" state border checkpoints, as well as ensure effective border and customs control, APA reports.

This was noted in the Action Plan on international corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan that President Ilham Aliyev approved.

According to the Action Plan, the infrastructure of the existing terminals located near the "Girmizi Korpu", "Samur", "Mazimgara", and "Bilasuvar" border crossing points will be repaired and restored and new customs terminals (trade facilitation centers) will be built near the "Girmizi Korpu" and "Samur" customs posts.
